370 students from Salou participate in a popular planted on playa Larga
Students from six schools in Salou have participated in a popular plantation that has been carried out in the area of Larga beach, with the intention of recovering the forest mass of the coast. There have been a total of 370 students of courses between the fourth and sixth grade of primary school, coming from the schools Europe, Salou, Santa Maria del Mar, Elisabeth, Vora Mar and Internacional del Camp.
Green light to Mercadona to be installed next to the municipal market
Mercadona has received the approval of the full City Council of Salou to be able to settle on the commercial surface adjacent to the municipal market. Finishing the renovation work for 79 light points on the carretera de la Costa

"Carretera y Manta" tries to attract young people through eight activities
The program of cultural and leisure activities "Carretera y Manta" starts in February announcing eight activities aimed at young people. Salou invests € 63,444 to improve showers on the beaches of Ponent and Levante
The lack of adequate drainage has motivated the City Council to decide to invest in improving the platforms of showers on two beaches in the municipality. Specifically, they will be operated on five platforms of the beach of Poniente (4) and Levante (1). The total budget will be 63,444.29 euros and the ten-week execcution period.
Salou enables parking areas controlled by the Cós Blanc celebration

Salou install an area for entertainment of dogs in Eduard Punset
The City Council has thought to create an area of entertainment for dogs, which will be located on Dr. Eduard Punset Avenue in Salou. For this, it will invest 18,150 euros in an area of 1,012 square meters that will be located in the garden areas of sector 5, the Emprius area, with the area occupied by the railway. It is an area close to the parks and surrounding garden areas of the avenue.
Salou hopes that the dismantling of the railway will energize the city
The railway network of the Mediterranean Corridor and the disappearance of the road that leaves the urban nucleus of Salou will give a new aspect to the city.

Repsol and the Revista Castells have signed a collaboration agreement that renews the condition of Repsol as a sponsor of the Night of Castles, which will celebrate its twelfth edition on January 27 in Valls. Salou reiterates its interest in La Cella being part of the Ruta dels Ibers and the Cami de Ronda
The work carried out in the Iberian site of La Cella, in Salou, during the year 2017 shows the municipal interest in consolidating and adapting the deposit .
A part of it - the recovered habitats - will be part of the Museum of the Protohistoric Site.
The improvements, carried out by the Grup de Recerca Seminari de Protohistòria i Arqueologia (GRESEPIA) of the URV, will allow in a future that the Generalitat contemplates the possibility of including it in the Ruta de los Íberos.
It is a request expressed by Pere Granados, mayor of Salou, during a visit to the Iberian constructions near Cap de Salou.
