Squid, star dish in 7 restaurants in Salou
A total of fourteen restaurants in Salou are taking part in a new edition of the Calamar Gastronomic Days, entitled this year, "From the sea to the table". The days are being held until 1 December 2024.
Salouween, or how to enjoy the best Halloween on the Costa Daurada
From October 25 to November 3, 2024, Salou is themed to offer the best Halloween celebration on the Costa Daurada: Salouween. Special commercial activity, chestnut festival and Halloween for the little ones and families, the parade of monsters and zombies, and of course Salouween Street on Passeig Jaume I, with gastronomic offerings, music and shows.
The beaches of Salou, ready for the summer season
The Salou City Council already has the two main security devices ready for the summer season on the municipality's beaches: the Beach Police Station and the lifeguard service. The first will have twenty service agents, while the lifeguard service has various land and water vehicles for rescue tasks.
Space for dogs and pets on Ponent beach in Salou
Salou takes another step to improve services as a Pet-Friendly tourism destination and from 2024 onwards offers a beach for dogs and pets in the middle of the summer season. There will be 1,785.72 m2 on Ponent beach in the capital of the Costa Daurada for pets.

Salou will have 2,000 new parking spaces
Salou wants to make the stay easier for both its residents and the thousands of tourists it receives throughout the year. And to do this, it is implementing an urban transformation plan that will increase the number of parking spaces on its streets to reach 4,200 in two years.

The Salou City Council continues to move forward to facilitate universal access and inclusion on the municipality's beaches, and that is why it has announced that in the 2024 season Salou will have a nudist beach, that there will be a bathing area for pets on Ponent beach, and an area enabled for bathing for people with disabilities on the Levante beach.
The Mare Nostrum Esei Summer Cup hosts 200 soccer teams, 40 women's
From June 22 to 25, 2023, Salou will host the 12th edition of the Mare Nostrum Esei Summer Cup football tournament. 200 national and international teams of young people between the ages of 7 and 18 will participate, of which 40 are women's teams. This means the mobilization of some 4,000 people and between 10,000 and 12,000 overnight stays on the Costa Dorada.

The minister attended the event organized in Madrid, within the framework of Fitur, to present its sports calendar for 2023, with 19 competitions and sports activities in different disciplines.

They are replanting the Manel Albinyana Park to recover the trees lost in 2018
The green area of the Manel Albinyana Park in Salou and the area of Carrer Tarragona will benefit from a replanting of trees and plants in an initiative of the city council. The purpose of the measure is to counteract the effects of the winds that affected the trees in the park in 2018.

More places to park for free in Salou this summer
Salou City Council has enabled a new free parking space with capacity for 300 vehicles on a plot of land in Carrer del Terrer. The space has an area of 5,244.05 square meters and will operate during the summer season until November 2022.
Lifeguards and Beach Police Station: security devices are in place for a quiet summer
Salou already has the security devices in place to guarantee a peaceful summer vacation for visitors, tourists and residents. On the one hand, the Rescue and First Aid Service is already fully deployed and the Beach Police Station is also operational.

What to do on the beach in spring
The beach is a natural space that offers multiple possibilities for leisure and sports throughout the year, beyond the summer months. For this reason, the Salou City Council, through its Tourist Board, has launched the "Beach all year round" initiative to encourage citizens and visitors to enjoy the beach beyond the summer season and the holidays.
