What to do in Salou during Holy Week 2024
If you have not yet decided where to spend these days of Easter holidays, do not hesitate and come to Salou. From January 26 to February 5, 2024, Salou will celebrate the Winter Festival
From January 26 to February 5, 2024, Salou is experiencing an intense Winter Festival with the novelty of the change of location of the Coso Blanco, the central and most representative event of the festival, which moves to Passeig Jaume I. More 70 events including concerts, music, theater, exhibitions, and children's and traditional activities to enjoy the Salou Winter Festival.
The Mare Nostrum Esei Summer Cup hosts 200 soccer teams, 40 women's
From June 22 to 25, 2023, Salou will host the 12th edition of the Mare Nostrum Esei Summer Cup football tournament. 200 national and international teams of young people between the ages of 7 and 18 will participate, of which 40 are women's teams. This means the mobilization of some 4,000 people and between 10,000 and 12,000 overnight stays on the Costa Dorada.
Salou hosts the Mare Nostrum Cup, the most important soccer tournament on the Costa Daurada
Between April 6 and 9, 2023, Salou will host the XXII edition of the Mare Nostrum Cup, the most important soccer tournament on the Costa Daurada. It will mobilize more than 25,000 people and 390 teams, with an expected economic impact of 7.5 million euros.

Fútbol Salou Sports Center together with Cambrils Park Sport Village are ready to receive, one more year, the different professional and amateur teams that have chosen them to prepare their sports seasons.
Up to 19 activities to enjoy doing sports in Salou during 2023

In May, Soccer World Cup for people with brain injury
From May 1 to 17, Salou will host the 7-a-side Football World Cup for people with brain injuries, both in the male (Male World Cup) and female (Female World Cup) categories. The participation of more than 500 people from 16 countries is expected and more than 50 games will be played.
The Mare Nostrum Easter Cup 2022 expects 6,000 participants from April 14 to 17
Between April 14 and 17, 2022, the Mare Nostrum Easter Cup soccer tournament expects to bring together 290 male and female soccer teams, aged 8 to 19, from various autonomous and international communities in Salou. In total, some 6,000 people, including athletes and their companions, will stay in the capital of the Costa Daurada.
The Costa Daurada sponsors Manchester City for women
The Costa Daurada has reached a sponsorship agreement with the Manchester City women's football team in order to promote itself in the British market until June 2023. This agreement is part of the Joint Promotion Plan in which the Tourist Boards of the Provincial Council of Tarragona Costa Daurada, Salou, Cambrils and Vila-seca, together with the Tarragona Province Hospitality and Tourism Business Federation (FEHT).
National and international football returns to Salou
After the pandemic moved football away from Salou, the capital of the Costa Dorada finally recovers this sporting activity thanks to the initiative of the Futbol Salou Sport Center, a unique sports complex in the area and one of the best in Europe. Salou once again hosts a massive soccer tournament, the Mare Nostrum ESEI Cup
Salou will host this weekend, from July 2 to 4, a massive soccer tournament, the first to be held after to Covid 19. The Mare Nostrum ESEI Cup will be held at the facilities of the Salou Futbol Complex and it will do it simultaneously in four fields in the modalities of soccer 11 and soccer 7, with 32 men's teams.
Salou adds the Golf Brand to its quality labels for Sports and Family Tourism
Improving the quality of its tourism offer is a primary objective for the City Council and for the Salou Tourism Board, and for this reason this year they have added the Marca Golf label to those that it already had as a Sports Tourism and Family Tourism Destination.
The new badge has been achieved thanks to the collaboration with Lumine Golf Club, which brings together 3 golf courses in the surroundings of PortAventura World Parks & Resort.
Salou offers classes of gym, aerobics and zumba until 31st August
During this summer, Salou will offer, free of charge, guided classes in gymnastics, aerobics and zumba in the Zona Esportiva of Llevant beach. This offer is added to existing facilities, such as petanque courts, chess tables or a fitness area.
Salou invests 800,000 euros to improve the Municipal Stadium
The Mayor of Salou, Pere Granados, accompanied by the Councilor for Sports, Hector Maiquez, and other representatives of the Consistory, has inaugurated the Municipal Stadium works, in which the City has invested 800,000 euros.
International football tournament with almost 700 participants
