Ramon Pellicer, from TV3, will present the opening gala of Salou Capital of Catalan Culture
The journalist and presenter of TV3's Telenotícies weekend, Ramon Pellicer, will be in charge of presenting the grand opening gala that Salou City Council is preparing to officially start the events of Salou Capital of Catalan Culture 2025. The programme of activities for the entire year will be announced on 27 February.
Salou begins to act as Capital of Catalan Culture 2025
On January 26, 2025, Salou officially began to act as Capital of Catalan Culture 2025, after taking over from Sabadell, which held the title during 2024. From this moment on, Salou is the cultural reference point of Catalonia and has 12 months ahead to strengthen its cultural role in various areas such as heritage, history, popular and traditional culture, and in different artistic expressions.

The year 2025 will be an important year for Salou, full of cultural activities of all kinds, after having been designated as Capital of Catalan Culture 2025 for being "

", according to the president of the Capital of Catalan Culture organisation, Xavier Tudela.
