In September, celebration of the Feast of King Jaume I
From 5 to 8 September 2024, Salou celebrates the departure of King Jaume I from the Port of Salou to conquer Mallorca. During these days, various cultural, sporting and recreational activities will remember that historic moment with the Medieval Market, the historical recreation of the royal departure, conferences, workshops and a regatta, among other events.
A magnificent fireworks display closes Salou's Nits Daurades
Salou's Nits Daurades 2024 festival has closed with a magnificent fireworks display, in front of thousands of people of all ages who have enjoyed the pyrotechnic show, filling the Jaume I promenade and the beach. It has been 13 days of intense celebration, with thirty events, all free, in which local talent and culture have had a special role.

From September 1 to 4, 2022, one of the most unique festivals in Salou is celebrated: the Rei Jaume I Festival, which arrives accompanied by cultural activities and the Medieval Market, as well as a royal procession, set in the 13th century, that runs through the main streets of Salou to the beach. Major winter festival 2022 for all ages without the Coso Blanco
From February 1 to 7, Salou will celebrate its Winter Festival with various activities especially designed for the little ones, although the program has the notable absence of the Coso Blanco, since the majority of the participating groups decided to suspend it due to the COVID situation.

Salou festival 2019: 30 years of segregation
The biggest festival that Salou celebrates each year in October has a special significance for this year because 30 years ago the segregation of Salou and its constitution in an independent municipality of Vila-seca. The culminating moment was October 30, 1989, when the Supreme Court issued a ruling favorable to the constitution of the municipality of Salou.
