PortAventura donates 500,000 euros to Tarragona hospitals
The PortAventura Foundation has donated 500,000 euros to buy state-of-the-art respirators that will be installed in the 7 hospitals in the province of Tarragona and more specifically in Tarragona, Reus, Tortosa, Valls, Vendrell and Móra d'Ebre. In this way, the Theme Park Foundation makes its contribution to fight the coronavirus COVID-19.
It's Christmas in Salou

A self-consumption photovoltaic plant for PortAventura World
PortAventura has presented an investment of 6 million euros to build a photovoltaic plant to produce self-consumption electricity for the resort, which will have 100,000 square meters (such as 14 soccer fields) and 22,000 photovoltaic panels. PortAventura hopes to avoid the emission of 4,000 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere, which is equivalent to the CO2 that 930,000 trees can absorb.

From October 24 to 27, 2019, Salou and the Costa Dorada will host the scoring event for the rally world RallyRacc Catalunya-Costa Daurada. The increase of competitors in the RallyRACC Catalunya-Costa Daurada, Rally of Spain 2018, confirms the success of this test at the international level. In this edition, the 54th, 76 teams have been registered, 14 are from the category WRC and 25 are R5, majority of category WRC2.
