Bonfires and festivals of Sant Joan 2024 on the beach
Nothing better than starting the summer by celebrating the solstice of this time of year on the beach, with a good Sant Joan bonfire and a party that combines tradition and festivals. If you are looking for this complete pack, come to Salou and enjoy a magical weekend.
The beaches of Salou, ready for the summer season
The Salou City Council already has the two main security devices ready for the summer season on the municipality's beaches: the Beach Police Station and the lifeguard service. The first will have twenty service agents, while the lifeguard service has various land and water vehicles for rescue tasks.
This summer Salou opens a smoke-free area on the beach
This summer, Salou's Ponent beach has a marked area of almost 12,000 square meters smoke-free, that is, where you cannot smoke or vape. This area is close to the Nautical Club and includes a playground and spaces for practicing sports on the beach (calisthenics and volleyball, among others).
Space for dogs and pets on Ponent beach in Salou
Salou takes another step to improve services as a Pet-Friendly tourism destination and from 2024 onwards offers a beach for dogs and pets in the middle of the summer season. There will be 1,785.72 m2 on Ponent beach in the capital of the Costa Daurada for pets.

From January 26 to February 5, 2024, Salou will celebrate the Winter Festival
From January 26 to February 5, 2024, Salou is experiencing an intense Winter Festival with the novelty of the change of location of the Coso Blanco, the central and most representative event of the festival, which moves to Passeig Jaume I. More 70 events including concerts, music, theater, exhibitions, and children's and traditional activities to enjoy the Salou Winter Festival.
Salou will have a nudist beach and beaches for people with disabilities and for pets
The Salou City Council continues to move forward to facilitate universal access and inclusion on the municipality's beaches, and that is why it has announced that in the 2024 season Salou will have a nudist beach, that there will be a bathing area for pets on Ponent beach, and an area enabled for bathing for people with disabilities on the Levante beach.
