The replacement works of the sand of Llarga and Llenguadets beaches, in the municipality of Salou, began last week. The action consists in transferring sediments accumulated in the beach of Ponent to the most affected by the storms of this past winter that have caused the loss of sand in the affected places.
The rescue and lifeguard service starts its activity on the beaches
The deployment of the rescue and lifeguard service, which operates on the beaches of the capital of the Costa Dorada, began in the middle of this month with fifteen rescue workers, a figure that will be extended to thirty in high season. Catalan police release a woman kidnapped in Salou
A strong police device, formed by more than ten police patrols of Mossos and Local Police, have managed to arrest three alleged kidnappers on Barcelona Street in Salou.
Those arrested kept a woman held in an apartment in the Velázquez building for causes that are being investigated.
There are three men of 28, 34 and 55 anys, of age and of Spanish nationality, with residence in Salou.
