What to do in Salou during Holy Week 2024
If you have not yet decided where to spend these days of Easter holidays, do not hesitate and come to Salou. You can rest and do nothing else, which is a more than appealing plan, or choose one of the many possibilities that the capital of the Costa Dorada offers you. Here we leave you some proposals.
The Mare Nostrum Esei Summer Cup hosts 200 soccer teams, 40 women's
From June 22 to 25, 2023, Salou will host the 12th edition of the Mare Nostrum Esei Summer Cup football tournament. 200 national and international teams of young people between the ages of 7 and 18 will participate, of which 40 are women's teams. This means the mobilization of some 4,000 people and between 10,000 and 12,000 overnight stays on the Costa Dorada.
The Mare Nostrum Easter Cup 2022 expects 6,000 participants from April 14 to 17
Between April 14 and 17, 2022, the Mare Nostrum Easter Cup soccer tournament expects to bring together 290 male and female soccer teams, aged 8 to 19, from various autonomous and international communities in Salou. In total, some 6,000 people, including athletes and their companions, will stay in the capital of the Costa Daurada.
Winter hours in the blue zone until Easter 2022
On October 1, the winter hours will come into operation in the blue zone of Salou. This means that most blue zones are free until Easter 2022, when they will be reactivated.The only blue zones where you have to pay are those found in the main shopping streets of the capital of the Costa Dorada.
The tourist forecasts for the Costa Dorada this season are optimistic, although they will not surpass that of 2017
The Costa Dorada expects good results for this season, but without breaking any record, as the aggressive offers that are made in other destinations in the Mediterranean, such as Egypt or Tunisia, will decrease the number of visitors in 2018, according to the Federació Empresarial d 'Hostaleria i Turisme de Tarragona (FEHT).
The blue area will apply to a greater number of routes during Semana Santa
The City Council of Salou will extend the range of action of the blue parking area to a greater number of routes during Easter days. Thus, from March 23 until April 8, the schedule of validity of the regulated parking will be valid from 10 to 14 hours, and from 5 to 10 pm. The situation will return to "normality" and will be applied to places where the rest of the year applies.

Reus is confirmed as regards commercial and cultural tourism in Costa Dorada
Reus has recently closed summer tourism campaign with data again to confirm the positioning of the city as regards commercial and cultural tourism in Costa Dorada. The increase in tourists is a major economic impact on the services sector in general, trade , catering and transport of Reus. Stands out the presence of Russian tourism , a fact that made the City Promotion Agency surveys to conduct a study of the tourist profile of this nationality .
