The Camino de Ronda de Salou already adds 1,250 meters more and reaches La Pineda, in the neighboring municipality of Vila-seca, after the intervention carried out by the Port Authority of Tarragona, which has invested more than 86,000 euros in the adaptation of the space between Cap Salou and La Pineda beach. The Salou City Council has been working for a long time to renovate the tourist destination and turn it into an avant-garde destination, this is more sustainable, smarter thanks to digitization, and more seasonally adjusted. The proposal has been supported by Next Generation funds, through the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, which will finance 6 million euros to make the project a reality.

The Salou City Council does not stop promoting improvements and actions that allow the completion of the Camino de Ronda, which runs along the entire coastline of the capital of the Costa Dorada by the sea. This endeavor includes the action to improve access for pedestrians and the upcoming construction of a viewpoint in the Glorieta area, on the edge of Cap Salou.

Salou has taken a step further in the strengthening of its coastal area with the recovery of the park and green area of ​​Capellans beach. The action has allowed to create a viewpoint from where to contemplate one of the most spectacular corners of the capital of the Costa Dorada: from the tip of the Po-Roig to the Lazareto.

The Coastal Territorial Services have committed to speed up the execution of the two final sections of the Cami de Ronda, pending implementation. It is the one between Cala Morista and Mollet del Far, and Punta de Cavall with Cala Crancs.

The activities of the mayors of Salou, Vandellòs-l'Hospitalet de l'Infant, Cambrils, and Mont-roig del Camp, who claim that their railway situation is not forgotten, has managed to go a step further today.
