Investment of 3.2 million euros to improve streets and public spaces
L'Ajuntament de Salou realitzarà una important inversió, de fins a 3,2 milions d'euros, destinada a la millora dels carrers i espais públics. Per a això, s'ha dividit el municipi en set zones d'actuació, on es destinaran 2 ME i a partir de gener es destinaran 1,1 ME a la millora dels carrers del Terrer, Louis Braille i la zona del carrer Burguera. A més, s'ha tret a licitació el projecte de l'avinguda Carles Buigas, on es destinaran altres 3 ME.
L'alcalde de Salou signa a Madrid el seu suport a la "Red de Destinos Turísticos Inteligentes"
Pere Granados, mayor of Salou, has signed a declaration of intentions of the Smart Tourist Destinations Network at the Ministry of Industry and Tourism. In this activity, which aims to improve the position in the classification of tourist destinations worldwide, have joined 60 other administrations between municipalities, provincial and regional administrations.
Ferrari sitúa Ferrari Land y PortAventura en Barcelona e ignora por completo Salou, Tarragona y la Costa Dorada
Ferrari, que este pasado 6 de abril inauguró el nuevo resort Ferrari Land, 'situa' este complejo en Barcelona, ignorando por completo a Salou, a la Pineda Vila-seca, a Tarragona o a la Costa Dorada, como si Catalunya comenzase y acabase en Barcelona. Mientras tanto, Red Force, la nueva atracción, ya está a pleno rendimiento.
Salou nombra parque President Companys el amplio espacio verde alrededor de la Masía Tous
Parc del President Lluís Companys i Jover es el nombre de la amplia zona verde que rodea la Masía Tous, designada con esta denominación en memoria del presidente de la Generalitat fusilado por el franquismo. El acto en memoria de Companys se llevó a cabo coincidiendo con el 76 aniversario de su asesinato.
Salou se suma a la manifestación unitaria en defensa de un tren público de calidad
El Ayuntamiento de Salou ha aprobado una moción de apoyo a las reivindicaciones de las plataformas en defensa de un ferrocarril moderno, eficiente y puntual y, por su parte, el alcalde Pere Granados, junto a diversos concejales de este municipio, ha participado activamente en la manifestación unitaria en defensa de mayores inversiones por parte de Renfe, de Adif y del gobierno español.
