On September 29 opens the Museum of Tortosa
Tortosa. Delta de l´Ebre. 1st August 2012. The Museum will open doors of Tortosa on 29 September, coinciding with the celebration of European Heritage Days. The City Council is working in the facilities of the old slaughterhouse to have everything ready for the recovery of the main cultural center of the city. The Museum of Tortosa, which completes its name to "Historic and Archaeological Terres de l'Ebre", offering visitors a retrospective history of the city and the territory from its origins to the present. Among the exhibits will be the famous Roman funerary stele, and other items donated by museums like the Prado, the MNAC or the Archaeological Museum of Tarragona.
