Salou receives the winner of the poster contest for the Nits Daurades 2009
Salou. Costa Dorada. At a reception hosted in the City of Salou, the mayor of the municipality, Pere Granados, along with the councilman of Tourism, Alberto del Hierro, and the councilwoman of Culture and Festivals, Isabel Aguilera, received Angel Ligero Martinez, the winner of the contest for poster for the Nits Daurades 2009. The work presented is called "Reflejos." Ligero come from Navarra and explained that he expended the summer in Salou many years ago, and his “passion” is graphic design. In fact, this is the fourth year that he participate in this competition in Salou. "This summer I have already collected 13 awards," he explained at the reception. During the ceremony, he handed the check for 2000 € which was equipped the prize for the winner of the posters in memoriam Cáneba Antonio Perrett and has been congratulated for being chosen. Granados said that "we are very happy that the people involved in the initiatives being undertaken by the City Council and hope that next year there will be many more posters in the contest" The winning poster was submitted to popular vote and was chosen among 8 finalists works. In addition to monetary reward by the City, the author also has seen his work has been reproduced as an image of Nits Daurades 2009 and in all programs of the hand of parties. "The poster symbolizes a palm fireworks on the corporate colors of Salou, and I thought people might like to," said Ligero.
