The manger of sand of La Pineda breaks the classic lines and opt for the geometry and innovation
Playa La Pineda Vila-seca. Costa Dorada. Nativity of the Costa Dorada This is the eleventh consecutive Christmas that is built in this monumental nativity scene on the Costa Dorada, La Pineda beach, in the municipality of Vila-seca. Although there is no exact calculation, many coaches of Barcelona, Lleida and several towns include La Pineda Beach crib in their trips, so it is expected that the manger will receive about 25,000 visitors. The construction of the crib sandy beach of La Pineda started the process of preparing and compacting the sand, consists in the sand in a wooden formwork to compact it and then be able to sculpt figures. Coordinated by Nuria Vallverdú, director of the project, other sculptors participating in the construction of this manger of sand are Niall Magee (Ireland), Ludo Roder (Netherlands), Anique Kuizenga (Netherlands), Daniel Doyle (Ireland) Tim Handford (England), Krke Kangra (Estonia) and Mario Hernandez (Catalonia).
