Gandesa celebrates the Wine Festival

Gandesa. Costa Dorada. The Wine Festival at Gandesa has its origins in a proposal to the members of the Society Gandesana, who dreamed of a popular act of recognition of the peasantry. Thus, on 6 November 1988 was born in Gandesa the Wine Festival, the popular meal of "Clotxa" as a prominent activity. This edition will be held until 2 November 2011 and will feature twenty wineries. The success of this idea, hard work and collaboration gandesans gandesanes, and - the surprise of the organizers - the success of the first edition led to the establishment of ties between the Company Gandesana Union, the City of Gandesa Winery Cooperative, and the years to establish an organizing committee of the Wine Festival, held by all three organizations with the technical collaboration of the Regulatory Council of the DO "Terra Alta".
