The Barcelona-El Prat airport is the main gateway to Catalonia and, therefore, this airport receives flights from many countries. Its installations are located 10 kilometers from the city of Barcelona and 100 kilometers from Salou.

The Barcelona airport has two terminal buildings: T1 and T2. This airport's policy is to use Terminal for companies, regardless of the destination or origin of the flight, so inbound flights occur in both the terminal T1 and T2 terminal.
