The RallyRACC Catalunya-Costa Daurada is here
On October 18 and 19, 2024, Salou and the Costa Daurada will host the 59th edition of the RallyRACC Catalunya-Costa Daurada, the penultimate round that counts towards the Spanish Super Rally Championship (S-CER), and in which participants compete for 12 championships, trophies or cups. The total route will be 100 km, with 4 timed sections that will be repeated twice and two rounds in Salou.

Tourist train of Salou
One of the tourist attractions in Salou is the 'trenet' or tourist train, a train that transits through the main attractions of the capital of the Costa Dorada.

LaLiga and PortAventura World have created a joint venture to create a soccer theme park and offer digital entertainment about this sport. The forecast is to invest 150 million euros in 3 phases, the first of which will be ready for the 2020-2021 football season. The project has been baptized with the name "The Beat Challenge".
On October 23 and 24 the RallyRACC Catalunya-Costa Daurada returns
As every October for 15 years, the RAllyRACC Catalunya-Costa Daurada returns to Salou and the Costa Dorada. The 56th edition of the RallyRACC Catalunya-Costa Daurada scoring for the Championships of Spain and Catalonia has been suspended. PortAventura World and Ferrari Land open on July 8
PortAventura World has already announced that it will open doors on July 8, although with limitations and with various security measures as a safe tourist destination. The PortAventura and Ferrari Land parks will open from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. respectively, but the date of the visit must be reserved in advance. They will also open 4 hotels and their pools, but there will be no shows until September.
No date to open PortAventura by COVID-19

PortAventura donates 500,000 euros to Tarragona hospitals
The PortAventura Foundation has donated 500,000 euros to buy state-of-the-art respirators that will be installed in the 7 hospitals in the province of Tarragona and more specifically in Tarragona, Reus, Tortosa, Valls, Vendrell and Móra d'Ebre.
