In the constitutive meeting through videoconference, the mayor of Salou, Pere Granados, participated, accompanied by the councilor for Economic Dynamization, Héctor Maiquez, and the manager of the Municipal Tourist Board, Marc Espasa, as well as many businessmen and businesswomen representing tourism, services , the commerce of the Center zone and the Mestral zone of Salou, and representatives of the beach concessions.
During the meeting, the mayor has promised to help businessmen with measures to make the payment of fees and royalties more flexible, and said that the creation of this commission will help to add synergies and unify everyone's criteria, "because unity, collaboration and the sum of efforts is essential, at this time, to overcome the crisis. "
Furthermore, Granados has insisted on the need to guarantee "a safe city, free of health risks, and careful with sustainability objectives, which guarantee a healthy and environmentally friendly city." In this sense, he has referred to the reinforcement of cleaning, disinfection and maintenance of urban spaces in Salou.
On the other hand, the mayor also announced the launching soon of a direct communication channel with citizens through a mobile messaging application.
For his part, the councilor for Economic Dynamization of Salou, Héctor Maiquez, reviewed all the advisory measures that have been adopted by the administrations; the actions and the challenge for the digitization and technological transformation of commerce; training initiatives; subsidies for companies and establishments; adaptation of shops to new health regulations; the creation of a directory to carry out online sales and home delivery; new commercial uses; the future creation of solidarity checks; the commercial promotion and restoration campaigns of the municipality; and the implantation of the Apeus.
