Coinciding with Black Friday, the Salou City Council has launched a new action to reactivate the municipality's commerce: allocate 70,000 euros in 20% discount vouchers to residents of Salou who spend a minimum of 30 euros in the businesses in the capital of the Costa Dorada adhered to the campaign. Each neighbor of Salou over 18 can enjoy a maximum of 3 vouchers.
What do you have to do to get the discount?
- Register 1 time on the bons.salou.cat website by clicking on "I am from Salou" and fill in the requested information.
- Once the registration is completed, the person will receive an SMS on the mobile to confirm the registration and it will be necessary to keep it for the discounts to apply.
- At the time of making the purchase, you will have to show the merchant the ID and the mobile phone with which you registered so that they can validate the voucher code and can instantly apply the discount.
The 20% discount vouchers will be applied to purchases between 30 and 100 euros.
How can a business join?
- Salou businesses can join the campaign by registering on the Salou City Council website.
- At the time of purchase, the merchant must enter bons.salou.cat and click on "I am a merchant".
- You must ask the client for the ID and put the amount. The client will show the SMS to apply the discount.
The Consistory's commitment is to settle the discounted amount to the merchant in a maximum of 15 days.
The mayor of Salou, Pere Granados, has indicated that "we have to face the social and economic emergency that we are currently suffering," and, in this sense, "we want our economic activity, as well as all the families of Salou, sit down with the support of the City Council, to be able to face, successfully, these key dates ". Granados has stated that "we make all possible efforts so that people enjoy advantages when buying, at the same time that we facilitate them to consume the shops of the city so that the local economy is reactivated."
For his part, the Councilor for Economic Dynamization, Héctor Maiquez, explained that "it is an initiative that, like all those we carry out from the area, aims to stimulate local commerce and restaurants, but which, in this case, also it is a benefit for the consumer. " In addition, "it responds to one of the demands that were made to us from the sectors involved", said the councilor.
The initiative has the collaboration of the Association Shopping Salou Merchants and Entrepreneurs, and the Association of Hospitality Entrepreneurs (AEH) of Salou.
