Repsol gives 7,000 euros for a project to recover a piece of Santa Tecla

Repsol opens the deadline for submitting projects to the tenth edition of "Project T-6000", which allocates up to 7,000 euros. The main objective of this initiative, created and promoted by the company, is collaborating in the recovery and preservation of elements of traditional and popular culture in Tarragona.

The "Project T-6000" is open to all organizations that make up the Parade of Tarragona, but also other groups that want to do projects that, one way or another, can be incorporated into the script or festive procession ritual celebrations, always referring to one of the following:

• Restoration or recovery musical elements used in the Parade, such as instruments, sheet music, recordings, and so on.
• Food and/or recovery of clothes and household items specific courtship.
• Recovery of elements that have formerly been part of the festivities Parade dances, theatrical characters, beasts, allegorical representations, rocks, appetizers, spoken dances, etc..
• Outreach of the contents of the heritage festival exhibitions, editions, and educational materials.

In short, any initiative that is directly related to the component elements of the parade with the participation of these elements in their performances and exits. Projects can be submitted until June 30. From then be studied by the Technical Committee of "Project T-6000" and the winning project will be chosen from among those presented. The verdict will be announced in early July.

Repsol has a long history in terms of collaborations with various elements of popular procession of the festival of Tarragona.
