Salou. Costa Dorada. 09 June 2023. From June 13 to 22, 2023, lovers of gastronomy and good food will be able to enjoy the best tastings from 30 restaurants in Salou. It's the Gastrotour, which is in its eleventh edition. Of the participating establishments, 26 offer tastings, 4 a menu of 5 dishes and dessert, and another 3 restaurants offer a choice between tasting or menu. The price of the tasting is 5 euros and includes a drink (water, soft drink, glass of wine or beer), while the menu has a price of 30 euros. The restaurants also undertake to offer these tastings between 12.00pm and 1.30pm and from 7.00pm to 9.00pm. Some establishments can extend these hours. The participating restaurants are:

In the presentation of the 2023 edition of the Gastrotour, the mayor of Salou, Pere Granados, pointed out that "the Gastrotour helps us to introduce the excellent gastronomic offer of Salou which is very powerful and competitive, not only for our residents, but also for visitors", and praised the excellent work of the restaurateurs in the municipality and the outstanding role of the Hospitality Business Association (AEH) of Salou. For his part, the councilor for Dinamización Económica, Hèctor Maiquez, has pointed out that "the Gastrotour is a promotional proposal, more than a commercial one, to introduce the gastronomy of Salou", while the president of the AEH Salou, Pep Moreno, has explained that "Gastrotour is not only a sample of the gastronomic history of Salou, but of the reinvention that the city has undergone, at a gastronomic level", and has defended "sustainable and quality gastronomy throughout the year, looking for a value of experience, and not just the fact of eating".
