Salou. Costa Dorada. 04 December 2024. Until December 22, from 12 to 3 pm, you can taste the best vermouths in the joint initiative between the Associació d’Empresaris d’Hostaleria (AEH) of Salou and the City Council of the capital of the Costa Daurada. Up to 25 establishments are participating in the “Fem el vermut a Salou” action, which for 6 euros offers to enjoy vermouth accompanied by a gastronomic tasting.
The restaurants in Salou that are participating in this initiative and their gastronomic proposals to accompany the vermouth are:
Cook and Travel (calle Llevant, 5): the tapa Núria (a timbale of crispy pork rinds filled with a low-temperature tuna salad and a Reus vermouth escabeche
MRKT Gastrobar (calle Francolí, 8): fried pizza with Bologna mortadella with truffle cream and parmesan cheese
Huma (carrer Barcelona, ββ62): puff pastry filled with artichokes, leeks and Iberian ham with honey romesco sauce and vegetable chips
The Garden (Via Roma 32): pork loin, onion and cheese skewer
La Gresca Food & Drinks (carrer Camí Reial, 2): a sandwich made of glass bread, fried egg with chistorra, arugula and candied onion
Malapecora by Bandarra (Via Augusta, 14): corn skewer with corn jelly Vermouth
Salou Winery by Wine Palace (Via Roma, 28, local 6): tray with potato chips, olives, fuet and nuts

The prepared tapas and tastings will be accompanied by some of the best vermouths made in Camp de Tarragona, Priorat and Terres de l'Ebre, starting with Reus, the international capital of vermouth.
