Modernism in Reus: Gaudi Centre
Reus
Gaudi Centre it is a center for experiencing modernist architect Antoni Gaudi from knowledge of his life and his work. Contains the entire exhibition area of 1200 m2, the Office of Tourism, a shop and a rooftop restaurant with magnificent views over the historic center of Reus and the Plaça del Mercadal, where Gaudi Centre is located.
Through interaction with visitors, integrates the latest techniques and audiovisual exhibition, tactile and interactive models, recreation and scenery, to explain the architect's life and, above all, creative mechanisms and Gaudí as Nature was his source of inspiration.
The Gaudi Centre has three levels:
- Gaudi and Reus, on the first floor, where you can see your personal items and the only book written that there Gaudi.
- Gaudi innovative, on the second floor, to know how deeply Gaudí and created a style of his own ideals emerged. A place to discover shapes, spaces and light, air and water from the point of view of Gaudi.

When it is open: days and hours
- The Gaudí Centre is open 361 days a year. Just close the 25 and 26 December (Christmas and Sant Esteve) and 1 and 6 January.
- From 1 January to 14 June and from 16 September to 31 December, the Gaudí Centre opens 10- 14 h and 16- 19 h on weekdays and from 11 am to 14 pm on holidays.
- From 15 June to 15 September is open from 10 to 20 h in weekdays and from 11 to 14 h holidays
Rates for 2014 (prices include audio guide service in Catalan, Spanish, English, French, Russian and German)
- From 14 to 64 years, 7 Euro
- From 7 to 13 years and over 64 years, 4 Euros
- All children under 7 years free
Group visits:
For groups between 15 and 55 people, the Gaudí Centre offers two opportunities visit:
- Guided tour with guide
- Visit with audio guide
The duration is 1 hour and 30 minutes. The price is 4 Euros per person, and can not be combined with other offers or special prices or promotions Gaudí Centre or services Reus tourism visits.
