La Mola de la Pobla de Montornès

 Excursion to the best viewpoint of the Costa Dorada, despite its modest elevation -280 m above sea-level, enjoys broad prospects on Tarragona. La Pobla de Montornès has train station. By car it comes from Torredembarra following T-210 from Tarragona and the AP-7 motorway, exit 32. The town is surrounded by almond groves, carob trees and orchards. From his village stands the church, late Gothic style, with a slender tower. The environment is the chapel of the Virgin of Montornès with Romanesque portal, and many notable houses as the house Soler-house now known as the Castle-documented in the seventeenth century, or more Boada, the sixteenth century. 0 km (71 m). The itinerary begins in the north of the town, near the railway line (just before crossing under the bridge is a wide space for parking). It passes under the bridge and then must turn right (E). You walk between vineyards and woods. 3.6 km (205 m) 0 h 52 min. Reached a ridge where the route joins a track. Leave the GR and follow the trail to the left (NOT) even climbing up to another ridge. 4.2 km (253 m), 1 h 02 min. You reach a crossroads: to follow the trail to the left (or) to the top of viewpoint (4.6 km, 277 m, 1 hr 11 min).
